Thom was a recurring character on Nikita and Alex's love interest. One of the recruits who were on the brink of becoming full agents, Thom was determined to prove himself to Division and took care of Alex when she was a new recruit. Thom defended her against Jaden and developed feelings for Alex, kissing her, although Alex didn't know how to react and rejected him.
When Thom becomes a full-fledged agent, he discovers that Alex and Nikita are working together and tries to take Alex in, who shoots and kills him. A heartbroken Alex swears revenge on Division for the situation and Thom takes the fall for Nikita's infiltration.
